We recognize that dependencies are frequently used as a coping mechanism. The substance or behaviour becomes dependent on in order to cope with difficult emotions such as pain, fear, and stress. Addictions, on the other hand, deteriorate our health and exacerbate our suffering over time. At Paracelsus Recovery, we can assist you in developing healthier coping mechanisms. Empathy and pragmatism underpin our treatment programs. Unlike most treatment facilities, we do not follow the 12-step treatment model. While it may work for some, its principles are not sustainable for the majority of wealthy and prominent people. Instead, we tailor our treatment programs to assist you in overcoming the underlying causes of your addiction.

About functional medicine

Biochemical restoration is the key.

Functional medicine is the practice of preventing and treating (physical and emotional) disease by providing the brain and body with optimal amounts of naturally occurring substances, such as amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, macronutrients, and other metabolically active substances. Because our emotions are the result of chemical processes in the brain and body, restoring deficits and imbalances is a critical component of mental health recovery.
